When Google Forms and DIY Aren't Enough
NX was committed to giving their tech team a thoughtful, well-structured 360 review experience. They started by building their own solution — but it quickly became clear that getting the experience right would pull significant development time away from core priorities.
They also tested Google Forms, but managing dozens of forms manually didn't scale. What NX really needed was a system that could handle the full workflow: let employees nominate their own peers, route those nominations through a manager approval process, and automatically send out review requests once approved.
Effy covered the entire process. Out of the box, it handled most of what NX needed — and where requirements were specific, like balancing review requests evenly across the company, the team was able to customize workflows directly in the platform.
Beyond the product, NX found a responsive partner. The Effy team was quick to help build custom workflows and openly receptive to feedback for improving the product.
After completing their first full review cycle, NX is looking forward to using Effy again.
